About the position
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric with mathematics and accounting
- Diploma in Accounting
- Team player
- Ability to work under pressure, organised and meticulous
- Must be deadline driven
- Analytical thinker
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate ie. MS Office with advanced Excel
- Report writing
- MUST HAVE 3 YEARS CASH/CARD RECONCILING EXPERIENCE
ROLE AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Daily reconciling of sales & expenses to bank statement
- Liaising with stores regarding discrepancies
- Communicating with Banks and Cash Processing Centre (Fidelity) re: deposits not banked, unclaimed deposits
- Communicating with various other departments regarding sales discrepancies eg. OPS, customer orders
- Weekly & monthly POS reports
